PNG to PDF Converter
Turn PNG images into a single PDF, with the page size and orientation you choose. Transparency is kept unless you ask for it to be filled with white, and no image is re-compressed.
Your files are processed locally in your browser tab. They are not uploaded to this server and they are not sent to any third party.
Drag a row to reorder it, or focus a row and press Alt with the up and down arrow keys.

PNG compared with JPEG for this job
PNG is lossless, so it is the better choice for screenshots, diagrams, charts, logos and anything with sharp edges or flat colour. JPEG is much smaller for photographs. Because this tool embeds the PNG without re-compressing it, a PDF made from photos will be large; the result panel always shows the real output size so nothing is a surprise.
- Input format: PNG only, including images with an alpha channel.
- Images are embedded as they are; the pixels are not altered.
- Images wider than 4000 pixels are reduced, and the list says which ones.
- Transparency is preserved by default, or filled with white on request.
- Page size A4, Letter, or sized exactly to each image.
What this tool does not do
- It does not convert JPG, WebP, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF or SVG. Use JPG to PDF for JPEG images.
- It does not run OCR, so a PDF made from a scan stays an image.
- It does not add page numbers, headers or captions.
- It does not compress the images: PNG data is embedded losslessly.
- It cannot repair a damaged PNG; such a file is reported and skipped.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PNG image re-compressed?
No. The PNG data is placed in the PDF as it is, so the image you get out is pixel-for-pixel the image you put in. The only exception is an image wider than 4000 pixels, which is reduced so the PDF does not become unreasonably large; the list says which images that applies to.
What happens to transparent areas?
By default they stay transparent: PDF supports transparency and the PNG alpha channel is carried over. If you choose "fill with white", transparent areas become white instead, which is what you usually want for a document that will be printed.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 is the standard paper size almost everywhere; Letter is used in the United States and Canada. "Page sized to the image" creates one page per image, exactly the size of that image, with no margins at all. That is the option to pick for screenshots or when the PDF is really a container for pictures.
Will my images be stretched?
No. Each image is scaled by a single factor until it fits inside the page, so its proportions never change. A wide image leaves white space above and below rather than being distorted.
Can I put the pages in a particular order?
Yes. Drag a row, use the arrow buttons, or focus a row and press Alt with the up and down arrow keys. The order in the list is the page order in the PDF.
Why is my JPG not accepted?
This tool converts PNG only, and it says so rather than quietly re-encoding. Use the JPG to PDF tool for JPEG images. If your images are mixed, convert them in two runs and merge the two PDFs afterwards with Merge PDF.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 50 images per job, each up to 100 MB. The practical limit is your device memory, because PNG is uncompressed while it is being prepared.
